We were going to the Museum of Art to see an exhibition of Pieter Brueghel’s paintings. He was a famous Renaissance painter. “How boring!” I thought, “Just some stupid paintings.” But when I got to the museum and saw his paintings I thought, “Wow! There is so much action in his pictures. It’s as if the world were
alive!” And then I was looking at one of his paintings called ‘Children’s Games’ when suddenly it seemed as though the people in the picture were moving. I stared at the picture in a daze. It wasn’t possible, was it? I looked at the picture again and . . .
